Really? I don't get why some people think he's awful.
Ok I can be the Catfish Lady :)

For those who have time for just one tune from this amazing show, try this - That's Alright Mama:

(This is diabolical.)

and if you like that song, here's another, rather different version, jerry and merl, '73:

Well, I listened/watched through Sugaree this morning before work, but just as Catfish John started, and I was thinking of you, Catfish Lady, I had to move, I really had to move. That's why I'm planning to get back to that a bit later. I do love Catfish John and it sounded good to me. Thanks for the link. I have Calderone Concert Hall 2/28/80 on cassette from ages ago. Whenever I hear that tape I think of the summer of 95, because I had it playing in my car for a few weeks around that summer on my drives to and from work. That would have been in July, in the happy days while he was still alive. That's the one where Hunter sat in with Jerry on a couple songs. Tiger Rose, and Promontory Rider, Territory Ranger. Have to dig through my cupboard for that one. But I will come back to this video too.

Ha, thanks. One of my all time favorites.
